So, if you have the budget for it, then I would advise you to definitely upgrade to the new Hero 11 Black. If not, then staying with the Hero 8 is not too bad also. The Hero 8 is still an absolute monster! It is one of the lightest/most compact cameras capable of 4k/60 or even 1080/240. the stabilization is also top-notch even by today’s standards.
