With two USB Ports, the 27.5W GoPro Supercharger allows you to charge two GoPro devices simultaneously. The USB-C port offers 20 to 70% faster charging on fast-charge compatible devices, which include all the latest GoPro cameras that came after the GoPro Hero 5. The fast-charging USB-C port charges at 5.1V 3A, 5.5V 3A, and 12V 1.67A. The second port (USB-A) is for normal charging speed. It charges the GoPro camera at 51.V 1.5A.

Is the GoPro Supercharger Worth it?
While all the alternatives that I’ve mentioned presently work well with GoPro cameras, there’s a catch! GoPro doesn’t officially recommend using third-party chargers. So, a firmware update from GoPro can make all these third-party chargers useless. Also, if any damage happens to your GoPro using these chargers, your camera’s warranty can be void. Therefore, even though the alternatives are cheaper, buy them at your own risk!
GoPro Dual Battery Charger (Hero 12 Black, HERO 11 Black/ HERO 10 Black/ HERO 9 Black) is an official GoPro Accessory, I highly recommend its usage as it also comes with extra Enduro batteries.
So, if you own a fast charging compatible GoPro model (for GoPro – Hero 8, 7, 6, 5), buying the GoPro official Supercharger is the best and safest option for you. However, if you own an older model of GoPro, then the standard wall charger which comes with the camera is sufficient for you, because you won’t be able to take advantage of the fast charging with those models.
