Curious about the perfect SD card size for your DJI Mavic Pro drone?
You’re in luck! This post is your one-stop-shop for everything related to DJI Mavic Pro compatible SD card sizes.
But that’s not all!
You’ll also get to know the details about other crucial aspects of the SD cards you can use with your Mavic Pro drone – like its type, speed, and our top picks for the drone
DJI Mavic Pro SD Card SIZE
DJI recommends that you use a memory card up to 128GB max with your Mavic Pro drone. I’ve used different cards with the drone – from 16GB to 128GB – and found out these facts. First of all, 16GB memory cards won’t work with your Mavic Pro. However, the 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB sized MicroSD cards work great with this drone. Frankly, with the 100mbps video codec on the DJI Mavic Pro, you don’t really need anything larger than 128GB simply because there’s a limit to how long you can keep your drone airborne.
Therefore, if you don’t want to frequently come across that annoying ‘Storage Space Running Out’ sign, you should use at least a 64GB micro SD card with the DJI Mavic Pro. 128GB is even better!
Recommended DJI Mavic Pro SD Card Size: 64GB or 128GB
DJI Mavic Pro SD Card Specs
In their documentation, DJI recommends that you use microSD type memory cards with the DJI Mavic Pro drone. Regarding the minimum speed, it’s stated that you should use at least UHS1, U3 rated MicroSD cards with the drone. And, as mentioned in the previous section, the Mavic 2 Pro accepts memory cards sized up to 128GB.
