Here are the steps to edit GoPro videos on Mac with Quik:
Step #1: On the Quik main window, click Media.
Step #2: In the window that opens, click Create.
Step #3: Now, you’ll see the timelines of your imported GoPro clips. Select the highlight from a clip that you want to add to the final video. You can do this by clicking the start point and then on the endpoint.
Step #4: Repeat the above step until you’ve selected start and endpoints for all the clips you want to add to the resulting video.
Step #5: After you’re done, all of your highlights will automatically be added to the new video, and Quik will also automatically add music for the video. You can change that music by clicking the song title, finding a song you like, and then clicking ‘ADD TO VIDEO’.
Step #6: Also, by default, the video will have a Quik-branded outro. To delete that, click Select Outro and then select No Outro. Apply the changes.
Step #7: Once you’re finished, click Save. In the window that opens, give your video any name you like, select the quality, and again click Save.
